Written in plain language — because you deserve to understand what you are agreeing to.
We believe privacy is a right, not a privilege. This policy tells you plainly what information Virgo & Crow collects, how we use it, and — just as importantly — what we will never do with it. If you have questions, send us a crow.
This policy applies to virgoandcrow.com and all associated pages and services.
We do not collect your real name unless you choose to provide it. We do not collect your location, phone number, or any other personal information.
All payments — memberships and donations — are processed by Square. Your card details are handled entirely by Square and never pass through our servers. We do not store, see, or have access to your payment card information.
Square's own privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled. We receive only a confirmation that a payment was made and the amount — nothing more.
We will never:
→ Sell your data to any third party, ever
→ Use your data for advertising purposes
→ Share your email address with any brand, advertiser or partner
→ Use your reviews or behaviour to build an advertising profile
→ Allow any payment or donation to influence what you see on this platform
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged in and the platform functioning. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features — such as staying logged in — may not work without them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly. We will respond within 30 days.
Virgo & Crow is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will notify members by email before the change takes effect. We will never make changes that reduce your privacy rights without giving you the opportunity to leave first.
By using Virgo & Crow you agree to these terms. We have written them in plain language because we believe you should actually be able to read and understand what you are agreeing to.
If something here seems unclear or unfair, tell us. We are listening.
Anyone aged 13 or over may create an account. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are old enough to participate.
Your words are your own. You retain ownership of everything you write on Virgo & Crow. By posting a review you grant us a licence to display it on the platform — nothing more.
In return, we ask that your reviews reflect your genuine, honest experience. The flock depends on it.
Our community uses the crow poo button to flag reviews that seem suspicious, unhelpful or dishonest. When a review receives enough crow poo from the community it is reviewed by our trusted moderators.
Reviews found to be fake, manipulative or in violation of these terms will be removed. Accounts that repeatedly violate the spirit of honest reviewing may be suspended or permanently removed from the flock.
We will always err on the side of the community's trust.
Society memberships are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time and your membership will remain active until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. No donation will ever influence review scores, placement or visibility on the platform. This is non-negotiable.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, and to suspend or remove any account that acts against the spirit of honest, community-driven reviewing.
We will always try to communicate with you before taking action, except in cases of serious or repeated violation.
Reviews on Virgo & Crow represent the personal opinions of individual community members. We do not verify every review and cannot guarantee their accuracy. We are a platform for honest opinion — not a source of professional advice.
Virgo & Crow is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
If we change these terms in a meaningful way we will notify members by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state in which Virgo & Crow is registered.
